Install — Petrus Landscape
Upon completion of this modern home, we redesigned the property’s landscape to create a lush, vibrant setting filled with intriguing plant varieties. The design features a mix of evergreen shade plants, such as the evergreen Dogwood (Cornus capitata) ‘Mountain Moon’, alongside unique ornamentals like the Chilean myrtle (Luma apiculata), adding both texture and visual interest. Plenty of hedging was also installed for privacy using the classic hedge plant English Laurel (Prunus Laurauceracus)

A deep understanding of Northern California landscapes
1
Climate & Ecology
We design with Northern California's Mediterranean climate rather than against it — reading each site's microclimate, soil, and light to select planting that thrives with restraint.

Architectural Context
Every estate is composed outward from its architecture, so the landscape feels inseparable from the residence — whether restored Spanish Colonial or contemporary design.

Long-Term Stewardship
The gardens we create are maintained by the atelier that built them, ensuring pruning, planting, and refinement follow the original design intent for decades.
